I Mr. Kalipada Purkait. Passed from Indian College of Arts and draftsmanship under Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. I have been living from fifteen years at Nallasopara near Mumbai city. I have exhibited my works many places in India and abord. lam passionately drawn to the urban and rural lives of India. I am fascinated by the daily realities of the masses– the mundane details of the lives that are routinely overlooked, but which provide insight into the valiant struggles of the people who constitute the majority of Indian society.
